Terms and Conditions Airport Transfers by Mont Blanc Services.
The following conditions will be applied to customers who have booked with Airport Transfers:
- The payment is required at the moment of the booking request. If Airport Transfers is able to supply the service, it will send by electronic mail (e-mail) a confirmation in which are indicated all the details of the booking. If Airport Transfers is not able to supply the service, it will send by e-mail a cancellation of the booking request. In the cases in which the transfer is considered as imminent the cancellation is sent also through an SMS. All payments will be refunded if Airport Transfers is not able to confirm your booking.
- The confirmation sent by e-mail (Transport voucher) is the Travel ticket. This has to be presented to the driver or to a representative of Airport Transfers both at the outward and at the return. The request of booking is not a valid confirmation of booking.
- In case the booking is made by telephone, the reservation will be subject and the customer will accept the same Terms and Conditions of Airport Transfers.
- At the moment of the booking the customer declares to be of age and assures that all the data supplied correspond to the reality, are correct, complete and that the credit or debit card used is of property of the same and that there are sufficient funds or credits to cover the cost of the Service. Airport Transfers will not be responsible for possible errors in the booking and it will not reimburse anything in case of missed services due to these errors. If these errors imply that Airport Transfers or its own suppliers have to carry out a different service from the one effectively booked and this involves additional costs to the service, the Customer will have to pay directly to the driver this difference, communicated by the Office of Airport Transfers, before the execution of the service.
- In the event that two or more persons are included in the same booking, the person purchasing the transfer shall be deemed to book it acting as the agent for both or all of the members of the group and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of each of the members of the group.
- The passengers will be brought or taken in charge to the addresses indicated on the booking. If you desire to change these addresses or other details, you have to do it by e-mail directly to the head office of Airport Transfers (sales@airporttransfers.it), up to 3 days before the date of the travel. If Airport Transfers will be able to satisfy the requests, the confirmation will be sent by e-mail. Any modification will be made at Airport Transfers' discretion and can be subject to an additional administrative cost.
- It is responsibility of the customer to furnish a valid and complete telephone number, included the international prefix. It is customer's responsibility to verify the presence of messages eventually left by Airport Transfers on his mobile phone until the day before the return transfer. The times of pick up for the return are approximate; in case of variation of such times passengers will be advised 48 hours before the transfer. If the client is unable to provide a valid mobile telephone number, he/she must ensure that the booking includes the contact details of the property where he/she can be contacted. If the customer does not provide any of the above mentioned contact details, it is his responsibility to contact the agent Airport Transfers at the number indicated in the voucher to avoid the risk to lose the return transfer. The notification of any modification to the pick-up times will be sent to the customer through SMS or mobile phone indicated in the booking.
- The cancellation of the booking must be made through e-mail to the head office of Airport Transfers (sales@airporttransfers.it) and it will be confirmed by Airport Transfers, always through e-mail. If you do not receive any confirmation of the cancellation, please contact directly the head office of Airport Transfers. The cancellation of the booking must be effected at least 7 days before the transfer. In case of cancellation of a booking effected by the customer within 7 days, Airport Transfers, to its absolute discretion, can reimburse the price of the transfer deducted an administrative cost of 50 euro and the expenses of credit card. In all the other cases the cancellation of the booking involves the application of the penalty of 100% and nothing will be reimbursed to the customer. Airport Transfers has the right to cancel in any moment a booking if it is not able to effect it in the correct way.
- If the customer's flight is cancelled, the transfer cannot be refunded by Airport Transfers.
- If during the booking of the private transfer the flight is delayed, the driver will wait up to 60 minutes from the scheduled arrival of the flight, after which the passenger will lose his or her transfer. If the private service driver, duly informed of the delay, is able to wait longer than 60 minutes, he will provide the transfer service at a cost of €25 per hour, or fraction thereof, of delay over 60 minutes, payable directly to the driver before the start of the service. In case of delay of the flight it is the customer's duty to inform the Call Center of Airport Transfers, at the telephone number reported on the booking. If the passenger has missed, for any other reason, his own transfer at the prearranged time, there is no reimbursement.
- Possible claims and requests of reimbursement must be sent, via e-mail, to the head office of Airport Transfers (sales@airporttransfers.it), within one month from the date of transfer.
- All luggage must be correctly labelled with the owner's name and destination address.
- Clients must limit themselves to carrying only 2 items of luggage including their ski or snowboard bag. Any exceeding luggage must be declared at the moment of the booking. In case a customer has additional luggage, Airport Transfers reserves the right to invoice an indemnity for the exceeding luggage or to refuse to transport such luggage.
- Airport Transfers will try to satisfy possible signalling inserted in the box "Particular Requests", but it is not obliged to do it.
- Airport Transfers reserves the faculty (and delegates such faculty to its own drivers) to refuse to transport any person who was visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or who had a behavior likely to represent a threat for the driver, the vehicle or the other passengers.
- Passengers are not allowed to bring any alcoholic beverage into our vehicles with the intention of consuming it, nor to drink alcohol in our vehicles.
- Smoking is prohibited on all Airport Transfers vehicles.
- The vehicles of Airport Transfers are insured against the accidents to the passengers and to third parties in conformity with the local regulations. However, although Airport Transfers always operates with the maximum possible care, customer's goods are transported at his own risk and no responsibility can be accepted, either for loss or for damages suffered. Therefore, customers are advised to check their own travel insurance.
- Airport Transfers undertakes to transport the passenger, with the least trouble and uneasiness, to the destination indicated in the confirmation document. However, circumstances out of our control can prevent the fulfillment of this responsibility. Following are some examples of circumstances that are out of our control:
- accidents causing vehicle delay
- areas with prohibited vehicle access
- exceptional or severe weather conditions
- fulfilment of requests from the police
- road deaths and accidents
- vandalism and terrorism
- delays due to unforeseeable traffic
- strikes carried out by third parties
- problems caused by other customers
- the vehicle detained or delayed by a police officer or government representative
- other circumstances that may pose a risk to passenger safety
- If Airport Transfers is not able, for any reason that is not out of its control, to bring its passengers to the confirmed destination, Airport Transfers will provide an adequate transport such as another bus, train, private car, taxi, etc.. Any reimbursement effected by Airport Transfers for the costs of an alternative means of transport born by the passengers to reach the destination written on the ticket must not exceed the cost to reach such destination by taxi. It is necessary to show a valid receipt to get the reimbursement.
- The customer's legal rights may under no circumstances be denied or diminished.
