Sestriere

Sestriere: this is the 'highest' municipality in Italy at 2035 m above sea level. Sestriere's economy depends almost exclusively on tourism, with excellent hotel facilities. Together with Claviere, Sauze d'Oulx, Cesana and Sansicario, it is part of the Via Lattea ski area. There are a total of 146 pistes, served by 92 ski lifts, for a length of 400 km, 120 of which have artificial snow. There are countless hotels and restaurants for every taste.
