Courmayeur: a splendid and prestigious town of international renown located at the foot of Mont Blanc, always referred to as "The Pearl of the Alps". The Chécrouit-Val Vény ski area has 96 km of pistes (19 of which are covered by artificial snow) that wind their way up the two sides of the mountain, starting from the 1525 m of Plan Vény on one side and the 1706 m of Plan Chécrouit on the other, to reach the 2763 m of the Cresta d'Arp. Thanks to the Mont Blanc cable car, you can take the spectacular Vallée Blanche, a breathtaking descent on skis over glaciers to the French town of Chamonix. Unforgettable Nordic skiing with 30 km of slopes in the enchanting Val Ferret. There are various options for hotel accommodation, from B&Bs, which are cheaper, to splendid 4-star hotels with every comfort and service. After a little shopping in the boutiques on the pedestrian street, you can enjoy local specialities in one of the famous restaurants.
