Claviere-Cesana: these two ski resorts are part (together with Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario and the French Montgenèvre) of the "Via Lattea" ski area, which offers 400 km of slopes, most of which are covered by artificial snow. The slopes range from the 1350 m altitude of Cesana to the 2800 m of the Motta peak, which offers a stupendous view of all the surrounding mountains, allowing the skier to savour the vastness and beauty of the area.
